Recycled Chandelier

So I decided to have the 4th grade class collaborate on a Chandelier project for the Silent Auction at Cesar Chavez in March.

I created an armature out of chicken wire and secured the lamp bulb inside. Kids  will cut plastic water bottles into pieces and use colored sharpies to color both sides of the plastic then They hole punch the plastic pieces and secure them to the outside of the chicken wire by twisting a paper clip.

This is what it looks like starting off. It will probably take at least 1-2 more sessions with the kids. It's gonna look awesome!
